Why Long Island, South Button & Middle Andaman

1. Long Island Waters

The offshore fishing in the Andamans has a starting location that is the most dependable in the island, and this is found in Long Island because it has a unique mix of reef systems, underwater formations, and lines of currents. The waters around it are highly populated by coral reefs and natural drop-offs that further bring in large schools of baitfish, which attract predator species as well. The presence of these transition areas between the reefs and deep waters provides the perfect habitats to the hunting fish like Giant Trevall,y which engages in aggressive surface attacks. Fishing Techniques Explained

• Popping: One of the methods used in surface fishing to entice aggressive predators, such as the Giant Trevally. It is one of the most thrilling approaches through the visual blows and lightning blows.
• Jigging: A very deep water method in which rods are lowered vertically with weighted lures and pulled with a motion. Perfect for targeting Dogtooth Tuna and any other deep-sea species.
• Trolling: One method is dragging lures behind the moving boat, where large areas are covered in the most efficient manner possible. It works very well with the pelagic species such as the Tuna and Wahoo.
